Event System

FlowMint supports multiple Event Types under a single platform, dynamically adjusting its UI and workflow engine based on the selected type.

Core Event Types

1. Classic Event (Registration Focus)

Designed as a direct alternative to platforms like Luma or Eventbrite.

  • Primary Use Case: Meetups, workshops, conferences.
  • Key Features: Ticket generation, QR code check-ins, capacity limits, waitlists, and attendance tracking.

2. Submission Event (Hackathons/Competitions)

Designed for complex, multi-stage team competitions.

  • Primary Use Case: Hackathons, case studies, project submissions.
  • Key Features: Team formation, shared team assets (e.g., one PPT per team), individual member task tracking, multi-phase timelines.

3. Survey

A streamlined experience for simple data collection.

  • Primary Use Case: Post-event feedback, market research.
  • Key Features: Anonymous submissions, branching logic, instant analytics generation.

4. Application (Hiring/Volunteers)

Designed for single-user, multi-stage pipelines.

  • Primary Use Case: Volunteer onboarding, internship hiring.
  • Key Features: Single-member teams (effectively individuals), interview scheduling, multi-stage pipeline boards (e.g., Applied -> Interview -> Offer).

5. Approval Workflow

Designed for internal corporate or organizational processes.

  • Primary Use Case: Leave requests, finance reimbursements.
