MVP Scope (Phase 1)

The Minimum Viable Product (MVP) is strictly scoped to solve the immediate operational needs of HackSpire 2026. Feature creep will not be permitted into the MVP.

Included in MVP

• Authentication: Basic Email/Password and Google OAuth.
• Organization & Events: Creation of HackSpire event and timeline configuration.
• Teams & Members: Registration, team creation, and invite links.
• Workflows & Tasks: Linear task generation (no complex branching).
• Shared PPTs: Version-controlled team uploads.
• Review System: The Organizer Dashboard, state machine, and mandatory feedback.
• Partial Resubmission: Unlocking only rejected tasks during the resubmission phase.

Excluded from MVP (Slated for Phase 2+)

• Workflow Templates: Admins must build workflows from scratch in MVP. Pre-built templates (e.g., "Standard Hackathon Template") come later.
• Marketplace: Public templates shared by the community.
• Complex Conditional Branching: (e.g., "If hardware team, show X"). MVP workflows will be linear for all teams.
• Enterprise Billing: Stripe integration.
• Custom Domains: Whitelabeling the platform for orgs.
